Taylor Equipment Completes Acquisition
LANDOVER, MD January 5, 2005 -- Taylor Equipment Distributors, Inc. and BMI Equipment Distributors, Inc. (Bill Miller, Inc., Warrenton VA) have completed an agreement between the companies wherein Taylor has acquired BMI’s revenue generating assets. Terms of the December 2004 transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition is the latest in a strategic growth initiative including line expansion and acquisitions of foodservice equipment distributors and service providers.
BMI was founded by Bill Miller in 1972 and has served the Baltimore/Washington area offering a wide variety of quality foodservice equipment and services. In addition to the BMI acquisition, Chris Miller will join Taylor’s Wholesale Division focusing on business development.
